Review by hotel critic
The property was a pleasant surprise, set in the heart of the Cotswolds with easy access to all the nearby attractions. the parking facilities were convenient, and the spacious layout of the room made for a comfortable stay. the well-equipped kitchen was a highlight, with all the necessary amenities for a week-long stay, especially if you enjoy cooking your meals. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the tea pot and cork screw/bottle opener, as well as the cleanliness and good condition of everything in the room. Although I only planned to stay for a night, I ended up extending my stay until late morning due to the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the room. the staff were helpful and responsive, providing all the information needed for a smooth check-in process. Overall, this property was a gem of a find, offering great value for the price. the location was convenient for exploring the lakes and Cirencester, with plenty of nearby walks and attractions. I didn't have a chance to meet the owner, but interactions with her son were pleasant and informative about the property's history. I would highly recommend this place for a pleasant stay in the Cotswolds.
